The Canoe Poling programs cover the unique skills and knowledge to successfully navigate your canoe not by paddle - but by pole. The program emphasizes balance and boat control while teaching participants the necessary skills and knowledge to safely pole to their destination.

To Register for a Skill Course: simply contact the Course Director / Organization and register with them.
To Register for an Instructor Course:
- Contact the Course Director / Organization and register with them first.
- Register yourself as an instructor candidate member with Paddle Canada here; if you are an existing member or a past skill course participant please login to your account and follow the Instructor Candidate link there. Contact the office if unsure of your account details and verify email and retrieve password. If you are brand new to PC, then proceed to the Instructor Candidate form.
Age Requirements: There are no age restrictions for any Skill Courses except at the discretion of the Course Director please check with them. For all instructor courses there is a minimum age of 16 yrs of age.
Paddlers are also taught the Leave No Trace principles for active environmental awareness and protection in order to help ensure that we can all continue to enjoy Canada's many waterways and wilderness for years to come.
