Paddle Canada is proud to announce the addition of Wilderness Medical Associates (WMA), The Canadian Red Cross (CRC), and Sirius Wilderness Medicine (SWM) to our Instructor Support Program (ISP).  Knowledge of the latest first aid practices – urban or wilderness - are an essential element of a paddling instructor’s skill set.  Beginning in August of this year, PC instructors will be able to access courses and products from these providers at a discounted rate across the country.


Our new partners represent the highest standard of Canadian first aid instruction and care, each bringing a unique contribution and character to the ISP.  WMA and SWM offer a 10% discount on all wilderness medicine course fees to PC instructors.  CRC provides the same advantage on emergency and standard level first aid training only, as well as a 20% discount on all first aid supplies purchased through its online store.

PC instructors will receive an email with further details on how to access these benefits from all three partners.  Note that any discounts apply only to the base, or wholesale, price of the course, and not to additional fees applied by the local providers.  Only current instructor members may access the program.
